GiMeSpace Free Edition extends your monitor in the horizontal direction. You just have to move the mouse cursor to the left or right edge of your screen and you will notice that your desktop extends beyond the borders of your screen. You will only see this when another window is open.
The program installs Babylon toolbar even if you unselect it during the install. The program also shows a lot of ads.
